There is a marvelous “Middle-earth” situated in the Atlantic Ocean just below the Arctic Circle.
Although it’s geographically closer to North America than the Old Continent, this country seems more European with its distinct culture, language, and unique population.
At only 20 million years old Iceland is much younger than Europe.  Within the landscapes you will discover energy in the constantly changing terrain and poetry written between the fascinating geographic contrasts.  These qualities make Iceland an idyllic place to run.  It is a curious and extraordinary place where time is suspended by the majestic countryside.
The travel guides say the best way to discover Iceland is to behind the wheel of a 4×4.  Nevertheless, at Almostthere we are convinced that the best way to really get to know a wild and untamed spirit is to run through it.
Theatricality, beauty, juxtapositions, and light set the perfect scene for a dramatic performance where man and nature go on an epic adventure to discover one another.
