Mario Marseglia

Sales Manager, 49, Neapolitan in spirit but “German” in approach, studied Economics at Milan University. Has managed sales, business development and management of sales networks in various fields (franchising, consumer goods, retail, real estate), also in a consultancy role. Passionate about running and triathlon for about 10 years, participates with the great enthusiasm of the classic amateur and achieves the even more classic mediocre results.

Mario Marseglia

As a boy I always wanted to be a super hero… I dreamt of being stung by a radioactive spider, of being hit by cosmic or even gamma rays, of discovering that in reality I was born on Krypton or at least of drinking the “Super-Soldier Serum”. What we call life events then made me realise that no objective is reached without sacrifice, commitment, discipline and dedication.

And so I dedicated myself to people and numbers. The first because I am fascinated by their capacity to constantly surprise, the second for their certain and perfect nature. Putting these things together it was only natural that I worked in sales and business development.
Munich Olympics 1972: 10,000m final Lasse Virén, a Finish athlete falls, gets back up, recovers and wins. With a world record.

This for me is “sportmanship”
Overcome difficulties, obstacles, the unexpected, with our own strength, but above all through our own willpower.

You see, just like Batman…

“No pain, no gain.”
